Aeromodeller Jan1948

Well this is the first of many wartime magazines I have to scan & upload.  Wordpress has a size limit of 2mb so we have to add them to our google drive but you can then download and read at your leisure

Please subscribe to this new blog which will grow over time to include loads of information and off course take a look at the store but latest products and best prices

The highlights of this issue as far as I can see are:

  • Plan of the EROS designed by J.W.Coasby and also the GH27b  by GWW Harris which I’m sure someone will blow up and have a go at building the model.  Hopefully someone will post images of their builds
  • Some really interesting articles on indoor free flight & aerodynamic design
  • At the time with Europe primarily using Diesel Engines there’s an interesting section on page 128 detailing the rise of glow engines in the US
  • The Western Wyvern TF Mk 1 is looked at on Page 134
  • Finally the last page an ad for Keil Kraft kits which in various guises are still available today
